I was bummed to hear about this, though at 68 he escaped the dangers of excessive drug use that took many of his peers and friends.

I remember playing his song "Clarence In Wonderland" on repeat when I heard it on this wonderful compilation I picked up randomly when I was in high school. He was one of the first artists I listened to when I started really exploring new music beyond just the copies of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Doors I had on repeat.
