Flute - Relic (ep)

New ep, "Relic," just put up by the virtually unknown Flute on his website www.flutegate.com. Here's an apt description:

"Flute is the solo electronic act of Virginia's Leigh Hanes, formed in 2010. Harnessing the sonic potential of samplers while preserving the organic nuances of hardware electronics and analog processing, Flute combines conventional and electronic instrumentation to explore a place where sounds exist detached from their traditional contexts. Flute subverts and distorts some of the conventions of late 20th century music genres, reforming them into percussive soundtracks simultaneously familiar and eerily alien. The result is a sometimes disorienting, often mesmerizing symphony of sounds - hijacked by some other-worldly entity."
