Novation Launchpad for Ipad

Just downloaded this yesterday and I gotta say its a fun little app. Definitely could see myself using it for a live/dj situation. FX are a bit basic though. Still much less hassle than using a laptop at a gig. Take a look .....

From what I read in the YouTube comments (something I usually dread to do) this is just a sample launcher with their pre made loops and built in effects and not a midi controller like the actual hardware version - is that right?

Yeah correct. I think I'd be pretty cool to load your own samples into it - I'm sure that's gotta be possible. As I say FX section is a bit limited but for free you can't really complain.

oh really? That's kinda lame. I figured it could be used to trigger Live at least. :p
