  Quote

Words like transcendant, atmospheric, and emotive attempt in vain to apply human language to describe the sounds of Vax. Having crafted a name for himself in the deep bass world releasing singles, EPs, and full lengths on labels like Gradient Audio, Cut Records, and Zip Sound, Vax drops this collection of his latest and greatest on friend & collaborator Logam's imprint Santoku Records.

A lifelong fan of electronic & instrumental music, Vax got into the sounds of bass music back in 2008, and soon after began producing deep dubstep and DJing regularly on Sub FM as Autopilot. After realizing hundreds of other musicians also used this name, he adopted the moniker Vax, moved to Atlanta, and started crafting a unique sound that is truly his own.

Santoku Records is proud to release Siren EP, consisting of four tracks heavy on bassweight and drenched in mood. Fleeting glimpses of bliss & melancholy ooze forth via ethereal melodics, while driving beats & looming sub basslines will make even the most stoic chinstrokers move their feet.

Available through all digital retail distro on April 1st, 2013.
