sidewinder
Quote The London-based producer, real name Kel McKeown, got his start recording for the Balearic-leaning (and currently dorment) D.C. Recordings almost a decade ago, and he's been releasing EPs and albums steadily since. Establishing his own imprint comes after a few experiments in self-releasing through his SoundCloud page. Starting his own label, though, was born less out of a desire to release his own music than to put out material by others. But "after a while," he writes, "it dawned on me that since I had my new own album that I was finishing and looking to release, the best way to launch the label would be to release that and hope it blossoms from there." That LP, Fourth: The Golden Eagle, is due out on DRUT in June, but the label's first release in earnest will be a three-tracker from McKeown called Answered. xyrofen
This will be nice. I like how his music always reminds me of water levels or watery atmospheres in video games (when the water areas aren't a huge pain in the ass).
