The Kazimier Liverpool

Recommended Posts

Kinda feel guilty about forgetting to tell Andy what a cracking set he performed last night.

I feel a lot of so called live electronic acts often take the piss but Andy firmly establishes the line between humour and piss taking. Electronic music needs more fun and humour like this and Ceephax is really becoming a well deserved cult figure of retro chic

VHShead's set also had it's moments too and I'm glad to see him developing a performance aspect with his Octatrack

Ceephax seemed to really enjoy himself. It was a quality performance, and the place was bouncing.

I recorded Ceephax & Vhs Head's sets for personal use, but the quality aint pretty.

Whats the venue like? I'm pretty sure Kazimier is owned by Dogshow, an awesome band indeed.

Personally, i thought it was ok but the sound was hit and miss. If you stood still for long enough your feet went to jelly cos of the reverb through the wooden floors.

Ceephax owned the joint for a good hour twenty as you couldn't keep still. Even Datassette looked gobsmacked in admiration from the wings.

Good visibility throughout though and you could practically be on stage with the artist if you wanted.

been at the show, amazing live set, wicked freestyle 303 madness and really consistent sound system.

no cromagnox tunes, but nice live versions of other tracks

Andy really managed to create a 90s rave feeling in the place, and trust me,

EVERYBODY in the place was dancing while he was playing

datassette set also was really nice, with one photodementia tune being dropped and also all of the other acts were nice!

big up to upitup and long live their project! the whole weekender was fun and full of fresh original tunes by lesser know artists which really deserve attention guys.

606+303 live from Roglok was banging on the last night,.. oldskool :-)
