his lovely pads are back, but somehow this doesn't grab me like a lot of his latest remixes

I am tearfully, desperately starved for that sound that opens the track up. It's the same type of sound at the beginning of Outside Plume. Those subtle, beautiful, faded sounds are what I have always loved about Clark.

That specific sound is scattered throughout Totems Flare. It involves some very specific reverbing and band pass filtering. Man I just wish he would go back to using those sounds.

I'm scanning to see if I can find those pads, as you say, in any other albums.
