vocal track, need feedback.

i think you've done a fine job making the vocals sound weathered, ethereal, textured, to the point where it sounds like another layer on top of a good song. that being said, there is some pitchiness in there even with all that and the reverb, but I wouldn't say it sounds bad, just real. but you sound like you are hiding. I'd rather hear you in the back of a room 10 feet away from the mic with no effects so that you sound more vulnerable. if you're looking for constructive criticism, i think the thing I find most bothersome is that you have done all this to make the vocals sound like they were dug out of a dusty scrap box in an attic, yet the rest of the track sounds relatively pristine, so there is some incongruity there. it might be more appealing if the whole thing sounded like yellowing musty longjohns.

love the guitar that comes in around 1:25 btw

oh I should say this song is quite good btw.
