Recommend me music for a summer outdoors.

Howdy,

In 4 weeks or so I'll be taking off to northwest Ontario to start work as a tree planter for 2 months. Afterwards I may hook up with another similar gig or just bicycle back to St. John's NL. Basically I'll be out in the elements for 4 months or more and I'll be listening to music for a majority of that time.

I've got my own stuff picked and I want to get some outside recommendations for some great tunes to listen to this summer. Music is a big part of keeping my mind occupied and I love listening to new stuff in situations like these, so help me build the soundtrack to another great summer by shooting me artists or albums you love.

Thanks and cheers!

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

you have to watch those silent people, always trying to trick you with their silence

since you'll be out in nature I think you should listen to a lot of ambient music.

I recommend

Tim Hecker - An Imaginary Country

Brian Eno - Ambient 4: On Land

David Sylvian & Robert Fripp - Approaching Silence

Steve Roach - Dreamtime Return
