Bizarrely fast and intricate beats!

Mingus-like harmonics and composition, but waaaay beyond.

I don't know if it's beyond mingus, but this is definitely nice.

cool, didn't know about this. the ruins are amazing.

Reminds me a bit of Orphic Oxtra's more wilder stuff -

these guys are touring through europe! tatsuya yoshida is one of the best drummers i'm aware of, and the ruins played one of the best shows i've seen, i highly recommend checking them out.
