Late next month, Domino will release a new 12″ of Animal Collective remixes, kookily titled Monkey Been To Burn Town. The EP will feature new edits of Centipede Hz track ‘Monkey Riches’ from a host of remixers, including footwork don Traxman and giddy house duo Teengirl Fantasy. Shabazz Palaces will also contribute an exclusive edit, as will Brian DeGraw of Brooklyn heroes Gang Gang Dance.

 

 

 

The gang gang dance remix is really good. probably better than the original for me.

The cover artwork is amazing. Never liked remixes, Monkey Riches is perfect as it is, one of my favourites on the album.

not a fan of remix ep's either but i am curious about the shabazz palaces take on newtown burnout. thats the best track on the album.
