HK119 releases a new single, ‘Iceberg’from her third album ‘Imaginature’ on 20th May 2013. Produced by Mark Dog Sayfritz, ‘Iceberg’ is as clear and crisp as its namesake, imagines a lover as a sparkling, cool surface with great hidden depths.

The single features a stripped back ‘club friendly Plaid reworking of the original and an Acoustic Ukulele Mix (instrument Heidi taught herself to play only last year)

'We've been a fan of HK119 since we first saw her audio/visual work. ‘Imaginature’, keeps faith with these early electro punk excursions but takes the song writing to a new level. When approaching the 'Iceberg' remix we attempted to produce a stripped back 'club friendly' version by adding polyrhythmic FM percussion and bass elements over a strong 44. We only allow the melody to push back through in the choruses for contrast but keep the vocal and associated processes to the forefront of the mix throughout’. Plaid

thanks for letting us know likwid. this is the original track without the remix, let me put it here so people can see better what Plaid adds to it.

+ i must add my observation that the remix sounds better with each listen.

First impressions: sounds like there's an amazing plaid track buried in there. But in it's current state...no no no....

Well, the lyrics do absolutely nothing for me, it's actually detrimental to the song given how annoying her voice is. However, the song finishes on a high note - from 4:15 on.

for me, they did the same as they did in their remix for Cube Juice, they let them sing for some time doing only minor touches to the original track, but in the end, kick in! it works fine for me, i love this remix oh yeah! ;)
