those look heartattack-worthy delicious. there is a burger commonly served around here that has two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns and a fried egg on top called the royal gorge burger.. I would post a picture but I don't hate myself enough to order it.

Not all hardcore burgers are American. For example, I tackled one of these behemoths when I lived in Hakodate, Japan in 2008 - the Futotcho Burger:
