I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.

When Sebastien Tellier enter in 2008 I was sure he would win. How wrong I was.

It's mind blowing how cheesy it gets every time. And so much money is poured into creating absolute garbage. I mean I'd rather listen to a local punk band of high schoolers sing out of tune about Pokemon in a crummy pub than the multimillion dollar production of Eurovision song contest.

Yeah and the best song of this semifinal hasn't passed to the final.

By the way, this thursday stay tuned to Norway. It's the best song of this year.

Eurovision songfestival became a pile of garbage when people could call in to vote for their favorite song. I am not saying it was ever very good, but the pure, solid heap of diarrhoea it is these days stands in pale comparison to earlier editions.

This again proves my point that democracy, as a system, destroys more than it creates.

well there is still a jury. And although I agree with you, I'm a 2000's watcher and the song level compared to the early 2000's has risen.

I read in interview with one of his mates from french scene (Kavinsky, i think) that he had intentionally chosen his worst song to compete.
