And to all the other people who have been sending in messages recently, yes I can understand why you don’t like the term “EDM” - it’s been associated with the mainstream scene in America since it first became popular. I can understand if you don’t like how other countries have advertised and marketed this genre of music into the scene, because it is disrespectful to its origins. But I think some of you need to settle down a bit, because when I first began liking this music, I knew EDM as a broad label that umbrellas every single genre so I don’t have to go listing them all. To me, it only means “electronic dance music”, it’s unfortunate that some of you associate it as “swag yolo bullshit terms” as one of the messages so eloquently put it.

If you’re angry, you’re angry, I understand this. I would appreciate it if the negative messages would stop but again realize that most of the posts on this blog are submission-based, so if you really wanted me to do something about this, I’d have to stop posting period. However, if you want to “better” the quality of this blog, please do submit your own posts if you very well know what’s good for the EDM scene and not the “American bastardization” as another message put it.
