Ufabulum Drum Sounds?

Does anyone have any idea what drum machine/sample set he was using for pretty much the entire album?

909, innit?

He seems to interchange between 808 and 909 on albums these days at a balanced rate, for sure.

it sounds to me like a pre existing sample drum pack of some kind, which one I have no idea. It's definitely not a classic roland machine though. Parts of it sound like a 707 but i don't think it is exactly

When was the last time he used an 808? That must be long ago.

Oh yeah, Shobaleader was all 909 too, wasn't it? I was thinking that was 808.

I can't recall any 808 track, even the old school ones it was a 606 and a 707 mostly. I'm still amazed he did jungle beats with a 707 and a sampler and made it work.

I thought he used a BOSS DR-660 rather than a 707?

Yes but as a sequencer, don't think he used any sounds from that drum-machine, I also have no idea how you can sequence full tracks using just a drum-machine but I don't make music so my knowledge is limited, I thought you would have to use MIDI sequencers like the Alesis MMT-8 but apparently not.

The 660 has a MIDI sequencer in it.

Only one i can think of though!

that's a 606. i dont think he's ever used an 808. the drums on ufabulum sound like he made his own kit. the ride reminds me of a 626 ride or something like that.
