I just wanted to promote my back catalogue of music.

I really wish I would have found a perfect fit of a label and been promoted and find a larger audience, but for now this is what it is: BANDCAMP!

I also use soundcloud. I've been thinking of ponying up for a premium account and uploading the whole shebang catalogue. Super fan helper with artwork suggested that.

We'll see.

That ratio would suggest some spammage.

However I am listening to the Youtube link you provided and it is definitely enjoyable work! I'd advise you to try and interact with the forum more if you want to be taken seriously here because your music is way above average and it would be a shame if people didn't give it a chance based solely on post count.

The music itself is never the 'spam', the act of posting it can be considered spamming though. If you love what we love then try posting your opinions in topics that already exist. We'll get a better idea of who you are and what you like, then we'll naturally be more curious to hear what kind of music you make.
