Apologies because i'm sure this has been discussed before. Can anyone explain what happened with the original chosen lords cd packaging (plastic binder with gold cd that pops out)?

Was it just a promo or just available in certain countries or what?! Also I don't believe that there are only 100 of these! Anyone have a clue?
