I'd love to try this. Anyone got experience with services like this, or perhaps recorded reverb things yourself?

Well why don't you - it's completely free ! I remember using this years ago, it's a little too reverberant (is that a word ?!) for general use but it's certainly worth a play

 

Nowadays I tend to just use convolution reverbs for 'real world' type reverberation.

Lol, didn't realize it was fully automated and free (but why wouldn't it be), I'll try it for sure.

The server doesn't respond atm.
