A remake of the no-wave-meets-hard-soul EP Services by Brooklyn’s AVA LUNA, Concrète Sound System’s Primus Luta reinterprets singer Carlos Hernandez’s lyrics to tell the tale of an ex-con in an heiress love triangle, over a soulful caterwaul of live electronic stylings, which have become the Concréte signature. Stuttered neo-break beats, live edit vocals and dynamic distortion build the sordid story of money, lust and murder.
