"Skip to latest post" issues

For the past few weeks I have noticed that when I click that icon to view the latest post in a thread I've already visited, it jumps me to a point in the thread before the last post I read. A few posts up, perhaps, instead of the first new one. It used to work perfectly.

I'm using Firefox 21.0 on OS X 10.7.5

I just installed a new update (incremental point release) to the board today - so it's still happening as of now?

I just tried it on the Funny Pictures thread (Finding Yermo, FUCKING LOL), and it went right to the post (Chrome 27, Win7 64bit)

Perhaps your machines are caching older JS scripts? Although this should be a programmatic issue, since the forum would need to know what was the last post you read in that particular thread...

I was having that problem up until 2 days ago whereupon I changed the theme and it got sorted.

Just tried it, works fine now.

Wait actually I just clicked on 'skip to first unread post' for this thread and it brought me to the post immediately before the first unread post.

Honestly, this is something (if it is even something) that I won't be able to fix, since it's part of the board itself... I'll check to see if it's a known issue and see if there's a resolution for it.

I think it was fine on mobile this morning, but worse than ever just now in the new skin thread.

Chrome is an option. I seem to be ok.

Tapatalk seems to go to a completely random point now in lieu of "first unread." It's strangely exciting.

So...this is still annoying, no matter which skin I'm using.
