This is the best mousepad I've ever had. They are completely glass. They don't make them anymore though.

If I ever get annoyed with the spongy bit I've got a htfr one close to hand.

anyone find that they have to put paper on their mousemat because the optical mouse makes the cursor jump?

Had it for about 15 years now and still works a charm (was just as good with a 'ball' mouse as for a digital one). Looks about as manky as the one above too !

mousepads are obsolete these days since the only reason for them was so the old ball mice would have a smooth surface to grip. Optical mice don't need this anymore unless you're on a glass tabletop.

And I highly doubt Mr. Pugsley has that mousepad - that's a stock photo shot of it, and if you really do own that, you're all kinds of sad.

It's definitely nice to have a comfortable mousepad though. Feels better.
