so I don't clutter up the YLC forum I'm putting all new songs in this thread

song for the ambient album idea. Second generation as far as recording to 32-bit wav because my laptop's a piece of shit and I have to render the track to stop the computer from lagging so I can add more stuff. Clips a little on purpose right now, won't be in the final version. Still a shitload more layers to add

sample was recorded with my secret weapon special microphone

trying out lots of weird mixing stuff, I hope the sounds get across on other people's speakers/phones. I know the treble sounds a little cheap atm. The idea is SUPERWETMIX ok

have you ever listened to 26 mixes for cash Spotlight (aphex twin mix)... i think you're on to something and that track might be inspiring.

this is essentially done, although I'll probably EQ it more

I like the unnerving mood this sets, put in some drumfunking tramens and you've got dark d&b gold.

sounds a little digitaly for now but it's just the 1st generation

I really like this one- foreboding but still kinda goofy, you know? That background pad is really nice

testing my custom modded waveshaper/reverb I wonked up a little bit (spoiler: I told the reverb code to use a slightly off samplerate)

I think I've finally married acid synths with my drum programming

it sort of sounds like it's the MIDDLE of some finished song, don't mind that because I ended up getting rid of a synth part

it's 3/4 (9/4?) with triplets for the acid line, and a drum part with 23 parts per beat (23-tuplet?) vs. regular tracker 4 ticks per beat
