Tomorrow's Harvest is everywhere I look!

Recommended Posts

I don't think I've ever seen such an over exposed electronic album and that includes Daft Punk! Every magazine or internet ad seems to have something about Tomorrow's Harvest this or new BoC that and that's before all the facebook leaky peeky stuff.

I do like BoC but I'm not a fanatic and I'm in no rush especially after the meh soundlclips I've heard so far however I feel peer pressure is putting me off somewhat as I hate feeling like a sheep.

This is one hell of promo campaign.

hrm... luckily i haven't seen it that much (actually, it seems to have even stopped being talked about after everyone got over the extremely polarized criticism)

now i see (sort of) waning excitement for yeezus since nobody can figure out whether they like it or hate it considering they're waiting to see how successful it is (and nowadays, who wants to risk thinking anything before being told by everyone else what's the right reaction to have)

This has gotten pretty out of hand as of late.

Pretty understandable. I think it's a pleasant listen. This release is like a study in what hype does to fans.

It's true. I have seen billboard adverts for Tomorrow's Harvest at most underground train stations I pass through in London. I thought it was kind of cool, but also very surprising just how many there were!

True. Very true. Think I've encountered more hype over BoC than I have Daft Punk, as the OP said.

New Future Image album, Definite Complex, out now!
FUTURE IMAGE RECORDS

Future Image Definite Complex
Intelligent Dasein Sound Experiments #1
papertiger harmonizing the seams
P/R/P/E The Speed of Revolution
William S. Braintree This is Story

Kaleid Machines

surely this sales success can't all be credited to the numbers station/videos promotional campaign can it? did boc gain popularity by doing absolutely nothing for 7 years?

it's also interesting to me because i think this is clearly their least accessible album.

But it's at number 7 in the UK album charts....

Wow that's pretty impressive.

It is indeed!

It was as high as #3 part way through the week.

It's the only time since I was about 16 that I'm actually listening to music that's in the charts. Not one, but two albums (this and Daft Punk).

Boo-hoo. Maybe they'll make enough money that the record labels won't bitch so much if they want to put out another one.
