I do, but I don't talk about it here. :)

kinda the same thing about me not talking about music to my friends.

yeah, i feel the same way. i'm a huge dodger fan but baseball doesn't get much play around here.

my team stinks right now, but at least puig has brought some excitement.

Yeah I was hyped because I thought I was going to a game today. I'm a reds fan. I like the sport a lot, much fun to watch.

I follow the Mets with disdain, contempt, and indifference.

Zack Wheeler literally doubles the number of games I'll be watching this summer.

fuck yes I am a fan of baseball!

I'm a long-time oakland A's fan pleased as fuck that Beane is still kicking people's asses with a scientific approach to the game. I read moneyball (as well as James, McCracken and others) at least once a season and have been growing more and more obsessed with sabermetrics etc. now that I have a male heir. Beckett and I watch baseball every night for at least an hour.

I also watch a lot of bluejays baseball as I live very close to Toronto.

same here... I'm still not over the 2006 playoffs when they lost to the Cardinals in game 7. I knew after that game that I would have to wait another 20 years before they reach the playoffs. I live about an hours drive from Angel Stadium. My son became an Angels fan and is pretty enthusiastic on learning how to play. So I'm with him on the field everyday teaching him fielding and hitting.

I don't think I will ever get over that game, although I still think people were too harsh on Beltran.

It's awesome that your son is into the game as well. I haven't got any kids myself, but I imagine watching and playing baseball must be great to share.

Baseball needs a time limit.

i don't agree if you're talking about a game time limit. a great game can go on forever, as far as i'm concerned. now if you're talking about batters stepping out to adjust every part of their uniform and related gear, or pitchers taking forever between pitches, then i'm with you. i saw somewhere recently someone (vin scully?) said of the long delays, "i blame velcro".
