I'm totally surprised by the fact that they're releasing new material, I didn't know that was planned. Song is pretty decent.

The real Pixies sounds more like The Pixies than all The Pixies soundalikes sound like The Pixies.

Love Black Francis on this, makes me think of him, Mark E Smith and David Lynch combined in one nightmare hybrid. Just needs some proper rough-arsed Albiniesque engineering for me though.

I was reading the NME website and all those cunts were saying how much they hated it. Hahah, ooooh worrying too much about putting their neck on the line and admiting its a great tune? You bet.

Anything lost on the NME fuckfaces is fine by me (I say that as an ex-reader of the paper of old, I remember how they drooled over Surfer Rosa when it came out). Bagboy is far from the Pixies' best but infinitely better than any shit those cunts are liable to spunk over from today's trendy and clueless no-hopers.

It's not Pixies without Kim Deal. Like the bs of New Order recording without Peter Hook.
