mnemonix
Boing! This is lovely. Can't help but be reminded of early Mouse On Mars, but it still has an original sound and lightness of touch. peace 7
Nice, mang. I miss my MC-505. Is that done all in ze MC-505, or was it bounced and mixed in DAW? Things I miss about my MC-505: nice distortion, that psychic hand shit, and generally just being able to sit with a machine on my lap and make choonz without a screen/mouse/etc. I do not miss it crashing, though. Squee
This is actually really cool - and cute! The only thing that stuck out and didn't really seem to fit was the bassline at 0:19 :) Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/79633-roland-mc-505-drillnbass-eskish/#findComment-2037432 Share on other sites

Guest skibby
how do you get that light sound? are you using hpf's on everything? it's not just you, but theres a whole aesthetic of this going on. also, are you using a frequency shifter to get those blurpy dippy sounds? if so, which one? waldszenen
Lovely microtonal inflection at the beginning with the slow pitch bend. Was hoping to hear more of it in the rest of the track... but then perhaps it'd be too aphexy, who knows.
