On a second thought, maybe it's Pir intro, not Under BOAC. Too short, muthafucker sure can mix.

Yes, it's Boogie Down Bronx by Gescom (who sampled line from Man Parish). So this clip is kinda chronological selection.

I noticed how these clips were ripping of the Gantz Graf video before on MTV (also Germany), but I didn't realize there was actually Autechre music used!

yeah i thought that...because i just got done listening to 777 (my favrite track at the moment) and then I got done...and the video started and I thought I hit repeat by accident...but I paid attetniton and the n I heard Second Bad Vilbel...but damn...it is so cool

But clearly the guy who made this for MTV knows AE well if he found Boogie Down Bronx. That's only available on what, SKAM500? Even lots of hardcore AE fans aren't aware of lots of random non-catalog tracks like that.

This would explain focus on 1998-1999 material, aside from famous Second Bad Vilbel noise burst

maybe alex rutterford is the one who made that MTV intro? just a thought, especially if it was made pre-gantz graf and uses autechre snippets.

dunno man, can you even imagine that today there would exist a TV programme for the youth, called NOISE, which is about experimental electronic music? I can't.
