Dalglish - Venoyn - 12" 45rpm vinyl EP mastered by Lupo limited to 350 copies in a full color matte jacket with full color artwork. 5 tracks. note: It's very hard to convey just how awesome this artwork looks in photos which appears to be drawn using fine tipped ink pens. It is extremely detailed and only an extremely high resolution photo can capture the detail.
The first ever Dalglish piece of vinyl, and the first vinyl of any Chris Douglas project since the release of 'Seimlste' in 2002 by his now deceased OST alias off Qlipothic

Norman will be, I'll be getting them a box of units on monday, so if you want to avoid the shipping charge from the US you're going to have to wait at least a week. I'm only charging $12 for shipping right now to europe off my site fyi. I don't work with big distros anymore, i'm using stores that I like, because frankly most of the distros are thieves. So many people I know (as well as myself multiple times) have been utterly ripped off by most of the well known UK/european electronic music distros. Seems to mostly happen to labels about the size of mine. I'm sure if you are an important client they will pay you and in a decent time frame.

that's completely understandable.

I would buy direct from your good self, but I have a (possibly unfounded) fear of records being destroyed by two postal services (USPS and the fucking Roylol Mailpalm). At least by buying domestically I can have a slightly lower chance of my shit not getting completely Bleep'd.

I'll have to keep a close eye on good, dependable Norman Records!

thanks for the heads up.

i do a pretty good job packaging vinyl, usually throw in at least 2 hard cardboard pieces that are larger than the sleeve to reinforce either side inside a folded hard vinyl record shipping box. I can totally understand your reservations though. I'll post here as soon as Norman has it.

fyi anyone who tried to order wouldn't have been able to because our shopping cart had a messed up entry for the Dalglish vinyl. All is working now.

Norman will be getting around 50 copies, and as soon as they put an order/pre-order link up ill paste it here

Very tasty washing machine beats on this sampler!
You'll have to forgive me as I'm late to the Recordlabelrecords party, but do you run this label (or are you peripherally involved with it in some way) John Ehrilchman?

  • 2 weeks later...

I have some of the RLR stuff here and each one is brilliant. What I like most about the label is the care of releasing really innovative music and ideas- see the Hidari LP or the second work of Nommo Ogo (I must admit it's a release you grow own since the lyrics add another dimension to the music that make it hard to have it as a solely music in the background only).

Thumps up Robbie! And this one is already on the wishlist.

Absolutely loved that nommo ogo release. Seems to have been criminally slept on though.

thanks for the kind words! and I agree about the criminally slept on part. Norman has the record now (although they've put a preorder link). and yes you will get a digital download when you order the vinyl. It doesn't happen automatically, just remind me when you place the order via email or put it on your order notes and i will get that to you. I'm going to hold off on sending out any digitals until about mid-August on this.

Sold! Seem to have ended up buying loads of dalglish/scald rougish/seaes stuff this year, I'm guessing it'll take a good year or so to sort through and properly get my head around.

i'll happily throw in a CD or something as a bonus, saw a few orders come in but wasn't sure if any of them were watmm members. Just let me know if you placed an order direct from the rlr website and i'll send a gift along the way. If there is a specific cd off the site you want say the word. The only ones I can't give away are the Across Time and space and Lying on the Floor cds, but i have plenty left of the other titles.

Yeah, ordered direct. It'll be obvious it's my order as my e-mail is also hellospiral.

How about the Nommo Ogo that MarinaStewart is talking about?

*checks discogs* oh, I think that may be Across Time and space?

Can I have Benacah Drann Deachd?

Also meant to ask, is the owl/sacrifice shirt that comes with the RLR comp still available?

So many questions lol(?)

i can get you a copy of benacah for sure. The Cremation of Care t-shirt is still available too but in very limited sizes and colors. If you want I can go check and see what I have left, let me know the size you want. Ill have to charge for the shirt since those were pretty costly to get made.

Trying to peg this on to my existing order at Norman...be great to get FLACs as well once its out. I noticed Chris Douglas had posted on FB how difficult it had been to sell physical copies of his music. Hope he knows there's a little support group over here at WATMM.

The Nommo Ogo LP "Across Time And Space" is worth to get not only for the music, but for the artwork as well.
Be sure to check the free downloads here if you came across the latest RLR offerings:

http://tomorohhidari.bandcamp.com/album/some-stars-not-yet-remixes
http://nommo-ogo.bandcamp.com/album/dreamless-end

The last one is a remix album of "Across Time And Space" and features superb reworks. It's a sheer mass of reworks so you may digest it in slices as well, but you see some wellknown names in it.

The Hidari remix was announced by Robbie at some part here and I guess many have seen it when it was out. The Nommo Ogo remixpackage seems to be a bit fallen under the radar so here is a chance to spread the word for it.
