Good job properly posting in YLC. You win 100 internets. Contact @Squee to collect your internets.

I like your sounds, and the mood. Are you using actual instruments or is this all DAW work? It is a little weird that the one guitar is only in the right channel though, but it would be cool if you had more going on in the left.

I like the weird backwards playing bass you've got going at the beginning of the track. Sounds cool.

I agree with Adieu, though, about the guitar only playing in the right channel. That sounds a bit weird. Apart from that, I would probably look into the structure of the track, because the way it builds is a bit weird :)

By the way, the whole track sounds very lo-fi as in the sound quality - not the quality of the track. What kind of MP3 did you upload to Soundcloud?

hi again,

thank you for your questions, i really appreciate. you're both right, i guess i didn't put enough on the right side, as for the guitar. that was supposed to be a 3 division thing i tried to do (3 modulations of the same riff superposed). in fact, when i listend to them alone they sounded a liiiittle akward, but "in context" the thing worked well. for the misbalance = my bad.

it's a series of live jams i made using elastik 2. just for fun. i did 4 or 5 songs using this method; i like it a lot, i kind of relax doing it. after these 4-5, i realized that some of them were somewhat worth a little listening...

i really didn't work hard on the mixing, i admit. not that i want to justify something (and i'm not a big expert at mixing tracks neither...). but that explains the simplicity of the whole thing and the tricky and sometimes maybe weird structure.

i usually work with both, that is a daw and live instruments. but overall, what i concentrate the most on is the musical ideas. therefore, the technical aspects may thus suffer a little.

thanks for the feedback again.

jd.
