hardcore pop mashups

Recently I've been getting back into some older hardcore techno, most notably artists that include pop mashups on their albums.

The planet mu allstars album "criminal" is a good example of what I'm talking about. Another are the silly mashups on "now that's what i call hellfish vol. 1". Doormouse also has a great Ghetto Boys mashup on "Broken" called "Ganster of Buh".

There was a time when I was completely obsessed with these pop mashups, but I digress. I was wondering what kind of hardcore pop mashups you guys knew of, if any.

I'm probably missing some. Toecutter comes to mind as having some pretty decent stuff. Rank Sinatra is another guy who made some stuff that I both liked and laughed my ass off at.

So...anyone else get this vibe from time to time? If so, what kind of stuff do you listen to?

If you can get hold of the Ministry of Shit compilation, it's got some really great mashes. I did an EP of stuff like that a while ago as well; maybe I'll put it online someday, but here's a Linkin Park one that I made, it's pretty terrible though:

The first thing I remember is Mochipet's Girls Love Breakcore album

^I think he's removed this song though

As Kirm recommended, Kid606 made some good stuff:

Doormouse did a lot of 12" with different genre themes (metal, country, rap, polka) like this one

Even though it's not breakcore, I always recommend 2 Many DJ's Radio Soulwax mixes, especially their well-known Vol. 2 which imo is the best mash-up album ever released.

If you like jungle, Soundmurderer & SK-1 is a lot of fun

Dancecore? not really old hardcore techno, but it fits the "harcore pop mashup" description.
