Leap Motion has gone "live"..had a glance through their app shop..ouch!

Chordion Conductor

looks super sexy for those endless arpeggio orgies.

AirBeats

who needs an air guitar..

AirHarp

that's an older video..same dev as AirBeats

Beat Bash

the game itself doesn't look very "intriguing" , but the trailer is kind of lol, soundtrack wise

http://www.engadget.com/2013/07/22/leap-motion-controller-review/

"Generally, although our control over the device did improve with time, it never became precise enough to allow for navigation of the Windows (or Mac) environment, in either the desktop or the modern UI -- and that was a huge blow to the daily usability of the Leap Motion controller."

and in the video review it looks kinda glitchy.

yeah who knows maybe they just did it wrong,

cool, thanks for the link. that review was pretty informative.

they do also say this: "Some developer may well figure out a way to take full advantage of the Leap's capabilities with a novel UI, but for now, it's best suited for creative pursuits, not productivity."

i'm still intrigued :cat:

you can't really put LM in good use with "traditional" UIs..you need rather constant feedback of some sort. we had the developer edition for a few weeks and it all stands and falls with the UX. from time to time, they had some thoughts/best practice posts with examples on the dev forum..

..that's from the dev blog:

and some LM filter action:
