Vibervibed Synth Test

Recommended Posts

ok i made a topic about that track already but it wasn't specific enough.

i've never listened to any Luke Vibert live recording on the web, so when was it played by Vibert? i thought the first time it was played was by AFX at the 2005 Snowbombing Festival.

also, AFX played it a few times for the past couple years or so: can anyone point me to a recent, decent and complete recording of it? i once found one but can't find it anymore.

Not a clean recording but the most recent I found was when he played it at the Melt! festival in Germany at about the 31 minute mark. (This is 2006)

he played it more recently, like 2012 or 2013 or something, i can't remember. i heard it played in at least 2 different and recent live recordings, and the sound quality was excellent in my memory.

Yeah he played it in 2011 at Sonar (?) Festival. I can't seem to find it right now but when I do I'll tell you where it is.

er, have you actually read the opening post of the thread? the copenhagen recording is there.

i'm fairly certain i heard him playing it at another gig (i mean i heard the recording, i wasn't at the gig).

My bad, I can sometimes jump on something a little too quick. Like you've said, I'm pretty sure he DID play it at another set, I'm just not sure which one.

I'm the one who uploaded both those videos, and i found the the cleanest version with Luke Vibert here: http://rareafx.wordpress.com/unreleased-tracksremixes/

Also, i found some kind of Tuss website showing all his releases on myspace. When i scrolled all the way down, i saw:

"The Tuss / 5 tracks on myspace"

01 - bank 4 step 030108

02 - 10 05 06

03 - 12 09 06 mug bass

04 - 05 11 06 twiddub

05 - vibervibed synth test

The album (If you can call it that) is still available https://myspace.com/cat189 but only one track remains.

The vibervibed synth test song might have been available in the past and if i would have found it earlier (because of all his different Tuss accounts)

i would have recorded it and uploaded it. I believe you can find the tussupdates website simply googling The Tuss vibervibed synth test.

Just got a copyright warning:

Nice! Yet still no Barbican copyright warnings. Odd. Maybe the sound or whatever not matching closely enough, but would be surprising given the live recordings that HAVE matched so far.

maybe it has something to do with it being an acoustic recording or the barbican track might be a different performance of the song song, could be that the one on the album was recorded in a studio at a different time?
