Nice - and further evidence of how shitty the Cunningham Directors Label DVD was with its complete lack of content

What's the longest vid Cunningham's ever made?

I'd say probably Flex. The full version is 17 minutes though the longest I can find online is this 12 minute cut - http://rutube.ru/video/1be3848a917c20bfdc481b7ce29dfbfb/ (caution NSFW)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Yeah I saw the label, but I didn't see this dummy and I thought it would have more FX if it was the full clip.

This was part of the National Theatre show in 2010. I found this particular video really disturbing.

Here's another interesting article about what he's been up to.

There's a lot of footage from the 2010 show included (which was amazing by the way), I recommend you try and get hold of it.

Holyshitfuck! (all one word) that looks incredible ... I was wondering what he'd been up to, after his proliferation in the late 90s/early 00s I've only heard of projects here and there so it's great to hear that he's been working so intently on this kind of thing. I have to find a way of seeing a live version of Jaqapparatus ....

The Royal Festival Hall (sorry got it wrong earlier, I always get those two confused) show was intense and really stunning.

It'll be a shame if it's not availbale online somewhere somehow. Thanks for that Flex post McPete!!! (f'ing awesome)

jaqapartus looks pretty amazing, if he worked with a good (script) writer and applied all this to a film it could be amazing, really made me think of a matrix.

the video of the girl in bed was fantastic as well, like a body horror version of jan svankmajer (who is quite body horror thinking about it)

imagine if cunningham and aphex twin developed a live show together? i would love to see that (and a new music video obvs)

They did one a while back and I think the 2010 show featured some AFX (can't remember)

I'd love for him to work on my new feature script (an adaptation of Crime and Punishment).

There's a lot of visceral imagery and I think it would be right up his street.

ah i forgot about that, but i was thinking more something with them robots, more like a installation in the curve room at the barbican or a abandonded warehouse.

Like a walk through installation? Yeah that would be wicked, I guess there must be a reason they haven't already though.
