Melodies From Mars Cassette Photograph

everybody knows that melodies from mars was a gift from Richard to some people at Warp and Rephlex and was unaviable for us, mortals, until it was leaked somewhere in 2000 or something...

now, i've seen a photograph of the original cassette somewhere on WATMM, but i can't remember where.

would someone please post a link to the thread where i'm talking about, or post the picture him/herself. i like how the cassette looks, with a poorly drwan afx-sign on it, it has something...

I think you're talking about the photo LUDD posted, which I'll leave up to him to say whether or not it's a legit cassette or one he made himself.

you're right. it was his post, i found the original thread. i first thought that it was legit (nearly a year ago), but if i look now, it seems more like a diy-joke, a good diy-joke

and if i may ask you, do you have the original MfM-cassette? (as part of the nearly infinitive joyrex-collection)

Yes, I do - it's a standard C90, with "melodies from mars" scribbled on it in typical Richard poor handwriting. Nothing special.
