Moving to London

I'm moving to London from Portugal. Just bought the plane ticket. Will arrive the 28th and my first day at work will be September 2nd.

I can't. :( I already quit my job here in Portugal. No turning back now!

Apparently, and old friend living there will accommodate for the time being. No idea where to go to next.

I'm a little scared about how expensive the city can be. Crazy prices drive me crazy. I can only imagine that I will be rolling my eyes at a lot of restaurant counters.

Depends where you go innit, London's not expensive really... The touristy restaurants probably are though.

Don't go to restaurants at all will save you good dosh. With the exchange rate I've been paying a lot more in Europe over the last few years than here.
