Breaking news: Tokyo fails to stop Olympics arriving in 2020

Recommended Posts

After many weeks of street fighting and protests, it has been announced today that Japan has failed in its attempt to stop the olympics coming to its capital city. Protestor Masaharu Akira was quoted as saying "Oh bugger. Fuck me. Not this bullshit in my country. God damn. All the foreigners are going to come and drop coca cola cans and burger wrappers all over the fucking floor. I'm not going to clear that shit up. We tried to pay Poland to take it off us but they laughed and said "haha". " The cost of the olympics was estimated as being 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 yen and Japan was set to borrow three times that in preparation for the sporting event of the decade. Olympic swimming Tokugawa Oyogu was quoted as saying "My dick is so big. Japan taxpayers will be fucked in the oshiri."

I already got the news of the announcement, but from what source or link did you find this?

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Tomorrow I'm voting to stop the Olympics from coming to Oslo in 2022. Hope it helps.

That implies the world still exists after the next world war. I hope I don't blow your hope out of your mind.

Whatever stops the Olympics from coming here, I'm fine.

not to mention all the radiation that has spread everywhere through out japan

Yes this is an issue. According to some random Japanese person you won't know, the government are covering up the dangerously high radiation levels there and she even went as far as saying "I wouldn't recommend visiting certain areas if you plan on having kids in the future". But hey she's not a scientist and some areas are much better than others.

Covering up? It's probably more a kind of "quantitative easing".

All these horrid international standards about when radiation is supposed to be safe or not, it's all statistics and if you want to, you could just change some definitions and standards after which everybody is happy again.

This was sarcasm, btw.

i'm still waiting for Godzilla FFS after all this radioactivity you'd think SOMETHING would have materialised! my disappointment is palpable.

The Olympics are a load of bullshit, nationalism, real state speculation and misplaced public funds. Fuck that shit.

regarding the radiation again, i hope everyone realizes the weight of this global issue. not only is japan completely contaminated at this point, but the entire planet itself is at risk, as the disaster has been said to be well over 10 times as worse than the Chernobyl incident at this point, and thats if you believe the media, it could be hundreds, if not thousands of times worse. it is said that in 2011, 10s of thousands of deaths in the US alone have been connected to radiation spreading from japan, and those numbers too, may well be grossly underestimated. this is by far the worst disaster in the history of mankind, and is incredibly more deadly than anyone is forecasting right now. it is so serious, that a cover up is easy to pull of and sustain, as the reality of the situation is so mind bogglingly horrible, most people fail to realize the true situation we are all in

One of my history professors had us watch the original 1954 Gojira in class a few years ago.

BTW what the fuck is up with people more concerned about getting radioactive contamination overseas than the several thousand people who died in the Northeast Earthquake and Tsunami in March 2011?

Well, never mind. We were discussing the 2020 Olympics right

who's tired of the olympics already say "aye"

Aye. Poblequadrat summed it up nicely.

But another pet peeve of mine is people perpetuating stereotypes and misconceptions of other countries of which they have little background knowledge. That's generally speaking - not just Japan or my own.

I guarantee there will be threads regarding the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo come 2016 and 2020 respectively tho, provided WATMM still exists then.

i think the ongoing issue of the radioactive fallout caused by the disaster is relevant, how is it not?

Hello Wankzterz 2000z. I live in Tokyo. Olympics are going to be hot as fuck. As for radiation, it can cause an ability for DNA to easily mutate. The bad side of this is cancer, etc. The good side of this, it through controlled DNA manipulation, one can more easily become a superhero level of human. The somewhat downside of this is that Tokyo is going to end up with thousands of dudes who are REALLY GOOD at wanking to cartoons of little girls. Like, superhero levels of loli wank. The upside is that, I am now able to jump 3 meters and can lift several hundred times my bodyweight and can neeearly levitate. The downside is that I still enjoy hanging out in electronic music forums and don't use my super powers for what they should be used for.

But seriously, fuck humidity and mosquitoes. That shit ain't cool. Cooling down here, though.... And my powers.... are getting.... stronger by the day! *collapse from incidental radiation-caused penis growth of 2 inches of girth per day, and trapezius muscles that are cutting off neck blood circulation*

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.
