Dusted off acid tracks- Midnight Acid, Tunnel

Midnight Acid is badass. I love me some slow acid compared to the usual 140-150 bpm acid. I don't know if it's too late to fix it, but there's a metallic ring on your kick. This might come from the kick down. You could probably easily fix that by adding a high cut/low pass.

Tunnel is really really cool as well. Like I said, I love slow acid :)

Cheers Squee, i'll have a look at that. Do you mean the high end 'clank' noise on the kick?

It sounds like there's a really high pitched tone attached to the kick. As if the original kick sample had some really high pitched frequencies that you can't hear, but after you pitched it down those frequencies came into a frequency spectrum that is audible to our ears.

On the verge of a motherboard meltdown, I quickly polished off some old acid tracks and reuploaded here:

There's a nice dark tone in the first one I really like. Quite a nice listen.

The second one is just as good and has an older feel to it (which I like quite a bit).

I definitely prefer Midnight. I really like your use of vocal samples throughout, like at the beginning of Tunnel or near the middle of midnight (I wish I could pull that off, I just can't get them right).

Cheers all.

For those I transposed the sample down quite a bit and added some pitch delays and a touch of distortion.

Thanks man I'll have to use that technique at some point.
