I've been working from no knowledge in FL Studio for 4 months. I've never watched any tutorials or anything so it's all discovered knowledge. I would love heavy criticism. I want to improve as much as possible.

Cool ambient bit at 2.20ish, I'd love to hear a whole song like that. Good stuff!

And I took the ambientish bit and made a somewhat ok song out of it

Edit: also, there's a bit of static on both the songs, i think that's relating to my shitty comp so try to ignore it.

I think I was with it up until about 1.5 minutes then I started to kinda loose interest. That sort of whiny acid noise through out the entire track I found to be really annoying lol. Agree with Rev85 that it gets quite enjoyable when it goes a bit gabba ambientish and that was my favourite bit. Not bad but I had a bit of hard time staying with it if I'm being honest.

hey,

I like how you dealt with the build up in oqe. if you're quite starting with music making (or at least in that way, with FL) it's probably better to try make short tracks because they're obviously easier to build up than 5 min-ish tracks. I'd also suggest trying experimenting more with the sounds ; it's obvious what kind of music you're referring to so that makes already a clear starting point for the research of the sound, but I'm sure you could pull more character from your tracks if you play with the sounds more, in a free way.
