Terminal Radio (Transmission 10 - 19)

Terminal Radio is a transmission broadcast offshoot of Terminal Window, a music project from FSOLBoard, a community of Future Sound of London fans on the internet. Artists on the board were invited to contribute tracks and collaborations to the album, given nothing but the title Terminal Window. Members who made tracks for the Terminal Window series and general fans of FSOL and ambient/alternative music were invited to contribute a 15 minute mix each. Eight of these were collected and mixed together into a 2 hour trip. Each volume will feature eight more alternate universes converging into one super quadnaural meta-brain.

Each volume streams first from Fnoob Underground Radio, then available all around the internet afterwords. Soundcloud is the only place so far to download a copy in full 320kps quality. Volumes 1 - 9, which features exclusive mixes from the likes of Neotropic, DF Tram, Futuresight, Herd, Rich Ears, Mischapex, Nmesh, S. A. This month we cross the interstellar ditch to Neo-America to cross a new path with promising newcomer IMPURFEKT, where he has provided us with an awe-inspiring selection of work from his upcoming fourth album "Crawling". Before leaving we also take a new trip with DJ MYTHOS, host of the MYTHIC BEAT radio show on ArtXFM. CUBUS makes a long welcome return to the series with a brand new wonderful adventure, and HALFTRIBE also returns with another exclusive mix. We continue admiring NOISESURFER's Smokin' Rooms, take a dive into ROSS BAKER's Psychedelic Headspace and follow OFF LAND through the wonders of his time and space, before we lastly get treated with special re-workings of the ever-creative FIVE MINUTES ALONE, as he plants a few more into your brain from his Garden Of Static Decay!

Hosted by Terminal Central Computer, this month we introduce LMS, also known as SY HAZE, his new ambient monkier is set to turn many inner and outer ears! Firstly we introduce a new section to the series called the LABEL SHOWCASE, where we'll dive into the universes, personality and philosophy of a certain label each time. S. A. FRED returns with a re-mastered and re-vamped early mix of his, Pandemonium then gives us an interesting glimpse of his native country of Macadoneia's past, and also it's future, filled with traditional folk songs and electrifying soundscapes, OFF LAND provides us with a terrific selection of his work in preparation of the worldwide release of his new album Tidewater Pulse, ROSS BAKER fills our ears with birds and dips our minds into natural fresh atmospheres, we then sit in front of ETERNALKEY's grand piano and become mezmerizied by another selection of solo work and favorites, and finally J. HARTMANN finishes the show with a mix that overwhelmed some, but fits perfectly here!

This month is a monster! Featured within this near three hour marathon is a terrific dub journey from BEN SONLEY aka MR. FNOOB, head of FNOOB.COM, for our second LABEL SHOWCASE we feature the music and delights of OFF LAND's NO-SOURCE label, we'll also give you a fifteen minute sneak peek of tracks that will appear on our upcoming anniversary compilation TERMINAL INTERFACE, then we welcome back DJ MYTHOS for a laid-back looser selection, we also welcome back cubus for an unbelievable droney experience, we have eggs, ham and a dash of hash with LMS, after which we party for days around a summertime campfire with NOISESURFER, then finally take a well earned breather with ROSS BAKER.

Terminal Radio celebrates its first year in existence, visiting and translating universes since November 2012. This volume we kick things up by extending our stretch to 11 universes. Firstly, we make a very special visit to TIM ANGRAVE, who runs the CHILLOUT LOUNGE mix series, and is the head of LEMONGRASS MUSIC. Next we travel to New Zealand to visit BLOOP, who has recorded us a live set to promote his latest EP.

From Canada, we welcome into the show GLITCH RITUAL, who is a fine addition to the series. Also tonight, we witness a phenomena that will probably only happen once a year. We are about to witness two collaborations in effect. One between S. A. FRED and RYLO 3, together as AS BY EDEN. And also a very special mix by FIVE MINUTES ALONE and ROSS BAKER, together as MIDDLEMARCH. Look out for their debut album next year. They will also be doing solo sets tonight, along with LOOSE LINK, HERD, NOISESURFER and OFF LAND.

Terminal Radio Transmission 15: "A Monstrous Psychedelic Terminal Exploding in Your Radio", curated by Ross Baker.

Eight alternate universes, converging into one, this is TERMINAL RADIO...

This month's show is a one off psychedelic special, as inspired by the Amorphous Androgynous series A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding in Your Mind. Five artists supply extra-long mixes, starting with ROSS BAKER's sinister psychedelic mixup, followed by a late '60s/early '70s trip from NMESH. FULL-SOURCE is brought back from the dead for one time only on his Undead Voodoo mix, and DJ HAZE provides a mysterious mix of psychedelia. The mix finishes off with newcomer SHELLDOVE showcasing alternative sources of psychedelic sounds.
