L-Event cover is ugly

I think it looks like ancient Chinese art, its allright, not the worst cover they've done.

I don't have the right tools at hand (read "i'm lazy") but i wonder what happens if you overlay this cover over Exai's.

If this was the cover of a BOC single, someone would have cracked the code by now. Autechrians are a bit more lazy perhaps?

L-event meaning lemon of course. Meaning it will be the worst album they've ever done.

They wouldn't be godfathers of IDM if their newest release wasn't considered the worst to date.

I hope I don't get L-Event at all at first and just discard it as boring noisy random tripe

Those albums always end up being the best after repeated listenings.

Good. I matched the actual dimensions of the album artwork, but matching up the square of the patterns makes more sense.

I think its alright.

It's not especially good or bad, the colors do seem fitting for a Fall release, although the music will probably not reflect such vibes.

Many hated the exai artwork mockups but loved the physical item. Expect the same here. watmm, as always, will not be satisfied without a 12" package in its hands.

Yeah I think the physical packaging has the potential to be quite lush

I don't know, I wasn't 100% satisfied with my (cd) copy. On my copy, the cardboard at the opening of the slipcover tends to bend upwards. Would have been better if it was kept straight-lined. And aesthetically, I didn't like the tracklist being put on a sticker on the back. It felt cheap, kinda. Also, there was a smudge on the shiny parts of the dark squares. I've heard more people talking about those smudges. But I liked the idea tho. And it doesn't look bad or anything. But part of me wished they played it safe and did something like the Oversteps cover, something gatefolded or whatever the heck you call it.
