I'm thrilled to announce Cytoplantastic's 5th album, and second MOST IDM tribute album. Thanks go to everyone who sent tracks, and especially to Zephyr Nova for the mastering and opholus for the album and track art. I highly recommend you click on each individual track on bandcamp to view the amazing track art!

Sorry it took longer than expected. Volunteers... Tough decisions... Etc.

In case you missed it, we also released an EP called "Heading for Outer Space", which is composed of the more whimsical tracks submitted. The EP can be found here, and the thread discussing the EP can be found here. The EP is also truely outstanding, so I highly recommend you check it out.

EDIT: Just want to mention that this is intended to be a free album by and for the watmm community. There's an option to donate money. I only enabled this option to give people an option to download in case we run out of free downloads for the month (but we probably won't hit that limit, don't worry).

Well I'd been able to hear mirror_neuron's track before it was released, and I loved it, so I'm gonna definitely love this album.

STAY LUSH! I'll download later cus I gotta go.

Aah, so glad this is finally out! Such an amazing compilation for such an interesting theme. I'm very happy to be part of it.

Big thumbs up to Root5 for organising the whole thing and for his feedback on the art covers :)

This is excellent dudes. Zephyr Nova and Swegüno tracks in particular stand out for me, but everything is really really great. Nice work all!

Great work! Loving this.

Yes, this. Followed both on soundcloud.

electro mini-album Megacity Rainfall
"cacas in igne, heus"  - Emperor Nero, AD 64

Huge fan of this Swegüno's track. I love the almost sleazy sounding drums, and the dorky piano thing at the end. It's worth noting that Swegüno's tracks are always very popular, in both the judging and the bandcamp stats. I usually put them at the beginning of the album which helps goose the stats a bit, but the dude makes consistently good and original music.

I really like the Hello Spiral intro track, and the mirror_neuron track. This album is on the whole noisier and more abstract than past tribute albums, and I like that 2 of the tracks went all the way into crazy-town.

I also really love the crazy ending on the cloudcapture track.

That Sweguno track is awesome - who is it, where are their albums?

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."
