I am a huge-ish Moz/Smiths fan but I never understood that line.

it's from "a taste of honey" about a girl who gets pregnant very young, her suitor says something similar to it.

Moz must have though it very romantic. if you have time check out his fave films, he really has very good taste.

right but i can't tell if it's innocently charming or sexual innuendo

he often just likes to make the references and that's it i guess. he does it quite a bit.
