My friends and I in Japan shared bags of chips in the same fashion, in which the bag is opened from the front rather than from the top in the middle of a circle. Opening it in a spiral pattern isn't something I've witnessed before though. (I can tell by the hangeul on the bag that the vid is in Korea tho)
