I know it's kind of strange to be thinking this the day of a new ae lp, but countering l-event's amazingly dark, ominous and (so far) hard to digest sound, I have a mild feeling of gloominess accompanying the release which I think has to do with the possibility of not having any more new material for a couple years....judging from gaps between recent albums. I feel that we've really been spoiled with the singles, mixes, box sets, radio shows, etc over the past year or two ... hoping they continue to deliver.

lol, glass half empty much

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

between now and the next release you could get married, have a child, loose the child to sudden infant death syndrome and then get divorced because your wife won't stop painting portraits of what your lost child might look like on his 18th birthday.

there is lots of life to live! unless you have a terminal illness, in which case this thread is fully justified.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Keep an open mind - there's plenty of artists putting out new stuff every year.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

  • 4 weeks later...

Kind of relate to the OP, these days the post-LP EP usually is the last stop before a few years wait. But even then, ae have never made us wait more than 3 years tops in between drinks.

Last time round we still had the EP set release, a few tracks here and there, some long-awaited tour stops, plus Oversteps and Quaristice weren't the most lauded albums and invited revisits again and again, plus these recent albums with 15 or so tracks means it can take longer to appreciate certain tracks.

The guys have released 11 official albums, and a ton of other material. 2-3 years gap in between is fair enough, it's not like we don't have other music to look forward to as well. I still need to catch up on Incunabula (and EP7), might space that in between Exai and LP12.
