P Diddy starting his own MTV

I applaud the idea, music videos were great in the 80s and 90s, let's see how long before Viacom buys him out.

Nobody cares about music videos anymore, its time to move on.

This should be interesting... I support the idea 100% but I'm not very hopeful.

There's this decent channel called Palladia (donno how widespread it is) that plays actual music-related content all the time. Festivals, concerts, band DVDs etc. along with music videos. I'm not into most of the stuff they play but I do appreciate the great change up from what MTV/VH1 does with reality TV and all that. It's also owned by MTV so it seems they finally decided to do something about music again. The internet's where it's really at though, obviously.

I think he's got the right idea. Maybe if the channel takes off, it will fill the void the bastardization of MTV left in people's hearts and stuff. Or maybe it will be bought out by Miley Cyrus and it'll be TwerkTV and it'll just have twerkin' badonks all day. Interesting... maybe?

i totally forgot today was the launch for revolt tv until i checked tv streaming on phone (sail-fone) and noticed revolt. i checked it out and they're showing a marathon of hiphop. i turned it back off
