Boiler Room Invitation

Just curious, has anyone here ever been to a Boiler Room show? If so, how does one get invited? The venue seems pretty secret and private to me...

apparently it helps if you are a personal friend of a DJ or organiser, and are unable to speak correct english.

Delsin had a Boiler Room night (or afternoon) in Amsterdam last weekend and they did this thing on Twitter where the first 20 people who sent them an e-mail with their favorite Delsin catalog number or something got a spot on the list.

I actually made the list but ended up not going because I had work to do.

Boiler Room just started in SF and the guy 'giving out invites' to people over facebook is probably one of the most ultimate twats in the music scene out here.

I think a couple of our planet-mu regulars went to mikes show a while back.

strangely the vid was taken off youtube and has anyone noticed that the audiences have been quite sparse every since?

I was at a Boiler Room yesterday in Shoreditch, saw Rob da Bank and a few other DJs in a loft in front of about 30 or so people. It was kinda embarrassing for many reasons, not least because everyone wanted to stand behind the DJ to be seen on the telly, only about 5 people were infront of the DJ. Also Happa opened his set with Spastik at 4pm and everyone went to the bar.

I listen to it sometimes on soundcloud but never watch it as looking at the pretentious twats makes my eyes bleed.
