spunktronics
Or something that has similar arp/modulation behaviour? Gonna try a demo of disco DSP discovery pro as that's the only one I can find. ascdi
Discovery is QG. `Synth1` is also Nordesque. modey
Synth1 is pretty great, but a bit unpredictable. There are some really nice emulations in the Reaktor user library, if you're a legit user.. Since the demo's don't expire all you have to do is get the Reaktor Player and you have full user library access until they change their policy. I have uploaded patches to the user library and i don't even own anything from NI if you want the nord ensemble, this is the one to use http://co.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=userlibrary&type=0&ulbr=1&plview=detail&patchid=10615 Edited October 28, 2013 by RadarJammer Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/80992-software-version-of-nord-lead-2/#findComment-2081590 Share on other sites

mcbpete
Yeah there's quite a good direct comparison between the Nord Lead 2 and Discovery - N.B. This is 3 years old and has been updated quite a bit since then. The only discoDSP VSTi I own is Corona as it was made by the same guy who made Buzz - so I bought it as a sort of 'thankyou' for the many years of use I got from the free bit of awesomeness, but yeah their VSTis seem really nice and you get great support.
