Not sure if a good purchase tbh, but its a shop unit in Soho so probably worth that price anyway. The extensive record collection inside must be worth a bit though...

"If you're at the stage in your life when you don't have to worry about making money but can live the bohemian life, meet interesting people every day and the occasional pop or rock star, here's your chance to take over the oldest record shop in the centre of Swinging London," says owner Tim Derbyshire of On The Beat Records, which is currently up for grabs on eBay for £300,000.

so i have to pay £300,000 to not make any money but get to meet interesting people and occasional pop/rock stars/idiots?! if only i had that much money to piss away and become a true bohemian!

lol, I've been there before.

Walk past it if I take the long way home from work.

Only record I ever got there was this:

The bohemian life is damn expensive nowadays.

At some point being a starving artist or bohemian will be only possible by inhabiting cheap tract homes on the edge of cities. Vast lower middle-class suburban neighborhoods: the next hip frontier!
