Hey Guys,

today i'm exceptionally posting 2 new tracks :X
1st one is Morphosis:
At the week a friend of mine visited me and he's playing saxophone so we recorded some tones and i've pitched the audio a few octaves up and down, tried to get a nice rhythm and melody out of it and i'm quite happy with the result (here are some of the original recordings, he's just playing since a half a year http://www35.zippyshare.com/v/22133880/file.html ) I've splittet the audio data into a higher and a lower one. Processed each one with auto filters to get some movement, reverb and other effects.

Do you think it's too repetitiv like that ? it was quite hard to get some kind of new theme or do add some remarkable other instrument

i hope you like what you hear :)

2nd. one is Someone's Waiting For You
That was actually some kind of lucky coincidence - i took a song of vicky leandros http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KlUZIuKkmM and manipulated it quite a lot until i got some nice atmosphere, played this on 40bpm and then put under this loop http://www69.zippyshare.com/v/67435204/file.html
the 40bpm tempo time strechted the loop quite nice and i processed it also quite alot.
do you think there's a lack of variation or development ?

anyway, i hope you like what you hear ! :)

i appreciate any kind of critics, suggestions and feedback !

thanks for taking time guys

best regards

Someone's Waiting For You : the beat sounds neat and has really a good groove. It entertained me during the whole listening and I didn't think the track was too long (although the melodic-ambient background could be more developed but it stills work well as it is).

Morphosis : I like the bass, it really sets a mood. I'm not fond of the high pitched sax, it sounds kinda cheesy to me but it works well with other pitches I find (if what I'm thinking about is this sax indeed). Hope you'll keep experimenting with home recordings anyway !

Overall I'm liking the things you post here, keep us updated :) viel Erfolg

@chunky: thanks dude, glad that you can chillout to this :) no, i havent heart about them, but will check out

@antape: thanks alot man, quite happy to hear such nice words really.
yea, it was quite hard to get some development into the background atmosphere because it is all just one sample, i've splitted it up into 3 different parts and yeah, thats it, maybe any clues how to get there more development into it ? the beat was also some really lucky experimentation :x all in all i got the feeling that this entire project was somehow quite unnecessary regarding the workflow and techniques

yea, i'll definitely keep on experimenting, these are all always some kind of lucky coincidances, but i always learn most things, when experimenting

will definitely keep you updated man ;)

cheers
